Since undergraduate school, Dr. Jake Aleck spent over 2,000 hours in strength & conditioning environments ranging from Division 1 college weight rooms to elite sports performance facilities.

His drive throughout chiropractic school was to bridge the gap between the medical and fitness fields.

Dr. Aleck has taken more than 700 hours of continuing education courses combining principles from the physical therapy, chiropractic, physiotherapy, & sports performance professions.

Born and raised in Frankfort, Dr. Aleck was active in sports his entire life. He was an all conference linebacker for Lincoln Way East Football and Division I college football player for Miami of Ohio. He enjoys training during his free time to have first hand experience in whatever hobby his patients may have.

As a student-athlete growing up, Dr.Aleck’s goal in chiropractic school was to be the best clinician possible. This means relieving patient’s symptoms as fast as possible and progressing them to optimal performance. Performance is different from person to person, but we believe every patient should have the opportunity to live pain free and do all the things they love in life.

At Aleck Pain to Performance,we have the capability of meeting patients when they most need it. Dr. Aleck’s life passion was always to create his own clinic within our hometown. Now, in the historic Trolley Barn, Dr. Aleck can utilize his extensive medical training, strength & conditioning knowledge, and understanding of the human body to give back to the community that made him who he is today.

Those experiences sparked a lasting interest in treatment and training, and they continue to influence the way he approaches patient care today.

He attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. Dr. Roy was a walk-on for the football team at the University of Wisconsin for all four years, experiencing firsthand the hard work and training that go into collegiate sports.

Dr. Roy went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. While completing his doctoral studies, he furthered his athletic career by being a member of the rugby team for all three years.

Today, Dr. Roy focuses on treating and training athletes of all ages, from competitive athletes to those who want to move better in their everyday lives.
